The 2023 national best Teacher for the junior high school (JHS) level Mr Alhaji Nankpa Jibirilu today made a donation of some learning materials to his former school Pulima basic school. These materials includes 1,000 exercise books, 100 pens, 120 pencils, 20 mathematical sets and 24 packs of sanitary pads. Mr Jibiliru said this donation is part of several donations he has carried out in all schools he has thought in over the years to encourage  positive learning outcomes in the schools, He also said being a former student of Pulima basic school, he sees it incumbent upon him to come show positive examples to the students and Teachers. The 2023 national best teacher also shared his dissatisfaction on the current low performances of the students when it comes to the BECE examination. To help improve the situation Mr Nankpa therefore pledged an amount of Ghc10,000 to support any student who will atain aggregate 6 - 10 in the BECE examination, furthermore Mr jibiliru also promised to help the school with marker boards to help improve teaching conditions in the school.

The PTA chairman Mr Suley Gomina on behalf of the community showed their appreciation to the National best teacher and also used the opportunity to advise the students to take their studies seriously Mr Suley also call on other community members to stretch a helping hand to the school since the school has helped produce great individuals from the community.

Mr Achu Kwesi the head master also on behalf of his staff appreciated the  kindness of mr Jibiliru and promised to share the materials to the deserving students.
